In additions with the 100% automation production lin, has helped IREX to control and minimize errors from the smallest stage. Currently, the factory can produce a wide range of solar cells such as Poly 21×156, Poly 34×156, Poly 78×156, Poly 78×157, Poly 156×156, Mono 78×156, Mono 125×125, Mono 156×156, Mono 158×158, etc. with the commitment of energy production over 80% for 25 years.

IEC 61215

IEC 61215 – Terrestrial Photovoltaic (PV) Modules – Design Qualification and Type Approval

IEC 61215’s focus is to determine the thermal and electrical characteristics of the modules, and to show their durability in outdoors operation. Actual module lifespand will depend on the design, environment and the conditions under which they are operated.

One of the most important solar cell testing procedures is IEC certification. It indicates solar modules comply with safety, quality and durability requirements. IEC certifications provide the basis for modules to be sold in the market.

IEC 61716

IEC 61716 Photovoltaic (PV) modules – Ammonia corrosion testing

Describes test sequences to determine the durability of different solar modules regarding corrosion from salt mist containing Chlorine (NaCl, MgCl2, etc.).

Modules that achieve these certifications comply with quality and safety regulations when installed in an equivalent environment. All of these standards’ tests provide a mean of assessing possible errors in PV modules when operating in a humid atmosphere with a dissolved ammonia (NH3).

IEC 61701 Photovoltaic (PV) modules – Salt mist corrosion testing

Describes test sequences to determine PV module’s resistance with Ammonia (NH3).

IEC 61730

IEC 61730 – Photovoltaic (PV) Module Safety Qualification

IEC 61730 specifies and describes the basic structural and test requirements that module must meet to provide electrical and mechanical safety when operates. The purpose of this standard is to identify requirements related to safety. These requirements intend to minimize misuse or limit malfunction of the solar module which may result in fire, electric shock and personal injury during operation.

One of the most important solar cell testing procedures is IEC certification. It indicates solar modules comply with safety, quality and durability requirements. IEC certifications provide the basis for modules to be sold in the market.

UL 1703

UL 1703 Standard for Flat-Plate Photovoltaic Modules and Panels

This standard covers requirements for the module’s components to provide electrical connection, equipment assembly and inspection procedures to ensure electrical safety, the risk of fire, explosion due to mechanical pressure and environment.

All UL 1703-certified modules adhere to quality and safety rules. UL 1703 is considered a passport “for IREX panels to penetrate the US and Canada markets.

Note: UL 1703 includes modules and photovoltaic panels that comply with National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA, National Fire Protection Association and will be accepted by local inspectors in the United States.

Bureau of Indian Standards

BIS: Crystalline Silicon Terrestrial Photovoltaic (PV) Modules

An Indian Standard based on IEC 61215: 2005 and IEC 61730: 2004 to evaluate the quality and safety of the modules.

All BIS-certified modules adhere to quality and safety regulation and are applicable to the Indian market. For IREX’s PV modules, BIS certification is not only a license for product to be exported and sold to the Indian market, in accordance with the Indian national safety standards installed in the grid; but also an important development for IREX’s business opportunity in a country with 1.37 billion people. This confirms the quality of Made in Vietnam PV modules is completely not inferior to those that come from other strong brands around the world.

ISO 9001 defines the requirements for Quality Management System of an organization to Design, Manufacture and Deliver products and services to meet customer as well as applicable statutory & regulatory requirements.
